Timeline

2017/7/15: Competition stars.

2017/7/18: Release training set and validation set. Submission starts.

2017/9/29 (23: 59 p.m. UTC): The first stage ends. Top 7 teams will win $10,000.

2017/10/7: (23:59 p.m. UTC): Release test set. Participants can submit results of test set, which will determine the final leaderboard.

2017/10/8: (23:59 p.m. UTC): Submission stops. Competition ends.

2017/10/10: Winners announcement. In the next 10 days, top 7 teams will be asked to submit a description with maximum four pages, in ACM double column format. The description can be written in either English or Chinese. If any team misses the deadline, its award will be canceled.

2017/10/25 (Time to be Determined): award ceremony.

Prize

First Stage:

1st Place: 3,000 USD.

2nd Place and 3^rd Place: 1,500 USD, each team.

4^th – 7^th Place: 1,000 USD, each team.

Final Stage:

Prizes Gold Medal (1st Place): 10,000 USD.

Silver Medal (2nd Place and 3^rd Place): 5,000 USD, each team.

Bronze Medal (4^th – 7^th Place): 2,500 USD, each team.

In addition, top 15 finalists will receive free IEEE membership for 1 year (each team has one membership).

Top 10 finalists will receive free CCF (China Computer Federation) memberships for 1 year (each team has one membership).

The organizer retains the right to use results submitted by all winning teams starting from the payment of prizes.
